Call for Ph.D. Dissertation Competition Submissions — HOST 2027
Are you completing—or have recently completed—a Ph.D. advancing the state of the art in hardware-oriented security and trust? The IEEE International Symposium on Hardware-Oriented Security and Trust (HOST 2027) invites eligible doctoral researchers to submit their dissertation work for the Ph.D. Dissertation Competition.host.conferences.computer
The competition welcomes work across AI and hardware security, hardware security primitives, attacks and defenses, architecture and system security, chiplet and packaging security, and emerging security and privacy challenges. Selected finalists will present a poster and oral presentation at HOST 2027, with the winner announced during the conference reception.host.conferences.computer
Ph.D. Dissertation Competition deadline: October 31, 2026
Submission: One-page cover letter + two-page extended abstract, submitted as a single anonymized PDF
Eligibility: Ph.D. candidates defending by May 31, 2028, and alumni who graduated on or after May 30, 2026.host.conferences.computer
